Why, hello there! #barndoor #countrystyle
The Musical Life of Justine Lucas
Here I'll be writing about my musical experiences in San Francisco, traveling around with circus in the US and Canada, and interesting characters I meet along the way. I also will be sharing new songs as I'm writing them, that you can't hear elsewhere because they were like composed that day pretty much. I'll also be sharing my thought process in songwriting and new music artists I discover.
🌈🌈 I’m not saying I’M magical… I’m just saying my music isn’t not magical. 🦄🦄
🌸🌸 Self promotion… how awkward. And yet it must be done! Like showering in a drought: get in and get out. Like pouring alcohol on a wound: tip the bottle and let gravity do the work. Ok, here it goes… MY MUSIC IS ON PANDORA, SPOTIFY, YOUTUBE, BANDCAMP, AND IT’S ALL FREE! It’s just free.
(hint: there’s not like another Justine Lucas on there so you can just type in my name)
Wow that was brutal. Man, self promotion, what a monster. I need a nap.
“Be silly with your voice! Be serious with your voice! Be romantic with your voice. Be tearful with your voice… use all of those emotions to help propel yourself out there.” -Brian, 60 yr old singer at West Oakland Bart Station 2014. I still remind myself of this every day.

Come on little babies! I know, change is hard. It’s gonna be ok, I promise!
🎶 “I’ve walked so long without going anywhere… and I was wrong for not knowing you’d be there… Always, always” 🎶
